  2. Create Effective Behavior Support Plans:  Design classroom strategies that use positive reinforcement, prevention techniques, and replacement behaviors to support emotional regulation.
  3. Teach Self-Regulation and Coping Skills: Use modeling, prompting, and guided practice to help students manage emotions, solve problems, and build independence.
  4. Track Progress and Adjust Supports: Collect and review behavior data to monitor student growth and make informed adjustments to intervention plans.
  5. Collaborate Ethically with Teams and Families: Work with colleagues and caregivers to ensure consistent implementation of strategies and maintain student dignity and respect.

Additionally, she is recognized as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Dr. Flowers’ scholarly pursuits are primarily focused on the realms of behavior analytic ethics and functional behavior analysis within educational environments.
