3-Hour Text-Based Professional Development Course
This text-based, 3-hour professional development course helps educators apply behavioral principles to support students’ emotional regulation and self-management skills. Participants learn how to identify emotional triggers, assess student needs, and develop individualized behavior support plans that promote lasting change.
The course provides practical, classroom-ready strategies, including positive reinforcement, prompting, visual supports, and structured routines. Educators learn how to reduce emotional outbursts, improve focus, and strengthen self-regulation in real classroom settings.
Through case studies, role-play scenarios, and ready-to-use tools, participants build confidence in responding to challenging behavior while supporting emotional growth. The course emphasizes ethical decision-making, collaboration with families and school teams, and the creation of supportive learning environments where all students can succeed.
