Struggling to support students who are disorganized, impulsive, or frequently off-task? This 6-hour professional development course equips school psychologists with practical strategies to evaluate and strengthen executive functioning skills across grade levels. You’ll learn how to identify common executive skill deficits—such as poor time management, weak working memory, or lack of sustained attention—and guide teachers, families, and staff in implementing evidence-based supports.

Grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), this training bridges research and practice, providing step-by-step techniques that foster planning, self-regulation, task initiation, and goal-setting. Through case studies and interactive activities, you’ll explore how to assess executive functioning, recommend targeted interventions, and consult effectively with educators and support teams.

Designed specifically for school psychologists, this course prepares you to collaborate with teachers, counselors, and paraprofessionals to build sustainable systems of support. You’ll leave with tools to improve students’ independence, organization, and self-management—leading to measurable improvements in both academic and behavioral outcomes.
