ABA Strategies for Supporting Students With ADHD
NCSP-Approved Professional Development for School Psychologists
This multi-modal course helps school psychologists support students with ADHD using practical, evidence-based ABA strategies. The course relies mainly on clear, engaging reading materials and uses minimal video content. It focuses on improving behavior, academic performance, social skills, and self-regulation in K–12 settings.
Unlike general professional development courses, this training is designed specifically for NCSP renewal. It shows school psychologists how to apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) within consultation, intervention planning, and school-wide systems. Participants learn how to use functional behavior assessments (FBAs), progress monitoring, and collaboration to support students with ADHD.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to design and support effective, ABA-based interventions for students with ADHD. These strategies promote meaningful and lasting improvements in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional outcomes.
